[Translator's note in response to question "Couldn't the letter be a "T" for Thea, short for Dorothea?": To me, the letter looks just as the "S" in both Solaas names on the same side. (S. Solaas and Allert Solaas), so I guess it's an "S". Since Alert didn't have a sister with a name starting with S, this may either be a nickname or shortform for one of them, or eventually for an unknown middle name. My guess is that the "S" and card comes from Lovisa.]
